Students Union has so much to offer you andthis is just one way

The Student s Union magazine representing yourviews,opinions and
thoughts.The whole of thismagazine has been put together by
students andfollowing this;the years first edition; it is hoped
thatthere will be a monthly edition of the magazine. Inorder for
this to happen there needs to besomething to put in which is where
you come in.What do you think?Whether it s politi cs,
football,music,t he Universit y or the Students Union.Maybeyou know
someone famous or just want raiseawareness.Simply wri te an article
and well tr y ourhardest to publish it in the next available
edition.Not only are you getting involved but it looksfantastic on
your CV which, (as Im sure you willhere numerous times this year)
it is vital to fil l wit has many extra-curricular activities as
possible toensure employers will be fighting over you.

Dpeople come with bri lliant costumes. In the last yearI have
seen the t eenage mutant ninja tur tles,somebody dressed as a
bakewell tart and even apirate ship gracing the dance floor at our
StudentsUnion bar. The best thing about i t i s that so manypeople
choose to dress up, that you look silly if youare in normal
clothes. Whoever it was that thoughtof getting a load of 18-25 year
olds to dress like theyare off to a kids party was a genius.
So if you are headed to Cit y Campus StudentsUnion Bar on a
Friday evening,watch out. You maybump into Superman,Captain Jack
Sparrow, or evenDart h Vader. Whoever you bump into, or dress upas,
I look for ward to seeing you in the middle of thedance floor I
know that is where I will be.

Yep, I like dressing up. Not in weird stuff. Imean whips and
chains really arent my thingand I dont have a magic changing room
notlike Mr Benn. Nevertheless, I like dressing up.As a cowboy
mostly, or a pirate, or as aRoman Gladiator. I have been a
footballer, adevil and even Action Man (t he greatest heroof them
all!).
This year I might dress up in my pyjamas,or maybeas a chav.
Whatever I choose,Ill be dressing up. Ireally cant remember when it
all started nobodyused to dress up when I was in my first
year,exceptfor at Halloween. But by the time I had reached mythir d
year,dressing up was the cool t hing to do.
Oh and yes, I am 22 years old!Every ot her Friday at City Campus
there is adifferent dressing up theme and my gosh some
ressing
