LIVE STREAMING AT GENERAL ASSEMBLY
While the General Assembly Arrangements staff wishes all Nazarenes could attend the Church of theNazarene's upcoming General Assembly, the staff realizes it is not feasible for everyone. In order tomake this important quadrennial event accessible to those who cannot attend, General Assembly wor-ship services and plenary meetings will be live streamed on the assembly website, nazarene.org/ga.
General Assembly is the "supreme doctrine-formulating, lawmaking, and elective authority of theChurch of the Nazarene" (Manual, 300). The assembly and auxiliary conventions (Nazarene MissionsInternational, Nazarene Youth International, and Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries Interna-tional) convene every four years, bringing together Nazarenes from around the globe. The 2013 eventwill take place from June 19 to 27.
Pray and Fast Now for General Conventions and Assembly
In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice.
In the morning I lay my requests before you, and wait in expectation. (Ps. 5:3, NIV)
Congregations of Nazarene Churches all around the world should already be engaged in the
June 1-21, 2013 corporate prayer and fasting for the June 17-29 General Conventions and As-
sembly in Indianapolis. If you are not on board yet, begin now interceding in all services and/
or organized prayer and fasting times. Promote this endeavor through bulletins, newsletters,
Power-Point, Sunday School classes, sign-up sheets, etc.
Two new General Superintendents and other leaders will be elected. Resolutions will be voted
on. Please do something to invoke God to powerfully pour out His Presence on our denomi-
nation at home and abroad. We need His summer rain to refresh all of us. Gods wisdom and
will need to be summoned in order for our denomination to flourish.
At the Convention Center, there will be a prayer room open for personal prayer from 8:00 am-
10pm June 19-24. In addition, there is corporate, worship-based prayer in the prayer room
from 10:30 am-Noon, and 1:30-3:00 pm each day, with the exception of Sunday morning.
Please consider being one of the prayer warriors for our General events.
As an add on: please pray for Gods Presence to be present at our District Conventions and
Assembly coming up July 14-17. Lets join in with our Lords passion for souls to be saved in
the Southwest corner of Indiana.
May the Spirit of the Lord rise upon us!
Prayerfully and lovingly,
Carolyn K. Pate, SWID Prayer and Fasting Chairperson

CALLING ALL ADULTSFUSION is all about merging the youth and adults in our efforts for
missions. The youth have responded beautifully, increasing from a
prior 50 teens in attendance at the District NMI Convention four
years ago to 200+ for the past three years. We hope to see an even
greater number in attendance this year.
One observation made by the youth is regarding the work project onMonday afternoon. Their question is: If the youth and adults are
joining together in missions, why are just the youth responding to
help with the work project? Good Question!
Work schedules may make it difficult for some adults to participate,
but this is a CALL OUT from the youth to the adults to come and join
them in the work project on Monday afternoon, July 15, 2013.
Complete the registration form below and send to Damon Spurgeon
by July 8 if you can participate. Lunch will be provided for you if you
mark the appropriate blank on the form. It will be served from 12:00
1:00 pm. Hope to see you there. Thank you.

MISSIONARY BLITZIt Is Coming! How Exciting! This June 16th or 30th.
If you do not have a missionary scheduled for your local church on one of
these dates, please ask the churches in your area when they have a mis-
sionary speaking and then have your church join with them for the service.
We want every church on the district to be involved in this Blitz.
If you have not heard from the Deputation Office in the Global Ministry Cen-
ter regarding details, contact Janet Ritter, [email protected] or 812-
279-0680. Lets have a great time of rejoicing and prayer for missions
around the world.
