They are always so excited to go out to the barn to be around the horses. Ashley helped us find our mare, Prizer, who has been such a perfect horse for our family.” -Danielle Lee, client “I have learned so much from Mrs. Ashley! She taught me how to take care of the horses and how to do well in the shows. I got my first blue ribbon with Mrs. Ashley and Flash at the Oak View Stables Horse Show!” -Tristen Waters, student “I brought my horse, Cupid, to Ashley hoping she could help train him. He would not go anywhere near a horse trailer without hours of frustration! She worked miracles with him! Our mission is to instill a general

knowledge of horseman-ship and proper care for the horses. We are here to be a friend to the horses, not an enemy. Our program helps teach discipline, responsibility and patience. We hope to teach people how to have

a blast while riding. Horses are a passion of ours and we hope it is your passion too!

For as long as I can re-member I have been

in love with horses. I started taking lessons at a very young age. I start-ed out showing in barrels and halter classes with my horse Flash when I was in middle school. From there I moved on to hunter/jumpers

around high school with my horse, Lily. I began training horses in high school when I trained Lily how to do hunters. From there, I took on different project horses which pro-gressed nicely and moved on to new homes. I was taught by many great teachers who all bestowed upon me different life lessons that I still hold with me today.

Lesson Program

The Crumpton Farm was es-

tablished in 2010 by Ashley and Josh Crumpton. They purchased the land in hopes of building a farm that would serve to teach those willing to learn about horses. Through their

efforts they have built up a lesson program designed to teach anyone about the joys of horseback riding and the simple pleasure of being around the animals. Ashley Crump-ton is the instructor for all of the lessons as well as an accredited horse trainer. Josh Crumpton helps run the farm.
