Cruickshank takes global chairman's role at Deloitte

Cruickshank chaired the UK firm for eight years before being

appointed to the global role on June 1. He will continue to

serve as an advisory partner to several of Deloitte UK's

largest clients.

Before becoming UK chairman in 2007, Cruickshank led

Deloitte's tax practice in the UK during which time he wasa

member of the firm's executive group and a member of theglobal

organisation's tax management group.
