CRUCIAL TIPS TO CREATE A PERFECT LOGO IDENTITY

Why is a logo important? How essential is a logo when it comes under the identity of clients? Why should it matter how target audience conceives the logo? An identity is the visual sensory of a brand that amounts to the overall package. In most cases, Visual devices like product designs and stationeries determine the creation of logo identity. A set of guidelines approved by the company, the client and the designer is employed to generate a perfect, coherent and profitable logo identity. Once a logo is designed or better; before the logo is designed, its features must undergo several drafts in order to fulfill theses points.

o Visible to its target audience and attract potential customers

o Establish and tell one message at a time (or just one message.)

o No duality in representation. Must stand for the company and nothing else.

o Durable and longevity so that the logo doesn’t require remodeling in the future.

o Compatible with all mediums and platforms.

LOGO SHOULD BE UNIQUE

This is the stage that matters the most. Unfortunately, this is also the stage where several companies falter big time. Let’s say a company is to create a logo for a client. Now the approach followed to create a logo identity begins with visualizing the product, the appearance of the logo on the product and further brainstorming. All the while, nobody realized that this is the same thought process that every other organization i.e. your competitors employ thus resulting in an obsolete logo design. Deviate. Start intermixing. Uniqueness is what matters for you and your client.

CONSISTENCY IN ALL ASPECTS

Remember that the consistency of a logo in terms of size and color inspires popularity and perfection. In order for a logo to be consistent in all aspects, the constraints to be maintained are highly strict.

o Identical sizing

o Maintain specific color codes for all media involvements from printing to web banners and other

avenues of marketing.

o Never modify logo.

o Use the logo as much as possible in every application.

o Changing color or size confuses the audience

o Ensures recognition over time

o Fixates impression in the minds of clients, future customers and audiences.

A SUSTAINABLE LOGO IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR

When a logo has been developed, branded and proclaimed public viewing, that’s the last time one lays

hands on it. Now, this criterion is painfully frustrating nevertheless it synopsizes the fundamental facet

of logo creation. Many and many logos have gone under the brushes of designers to receive visual

transformations. Pushed by changing scenario and possible termination by the public, many companies

have even tried to completely redesign their logo in an act of survival impulse.

There’s a maximum possibility that your company’s logo will be the only remnant for the next decade or

so. You could foray into other business and expand the empire but your logo identity will always remain

the same.

SEND A SINGLE, CLEAR MESSAGE

A logo definitely conveys a message. But what is that message? Is it really about the company’s ideology

or some random idea sending a negative message? If it’s the latter, then the company’s image is under

turmoil.

First and foremost, identify the message that needs to be communicated. Study and review the

organization’s belief, range of products and services to arrive at a positive message deliverance system.
