GENRE NARRATIVE DRAMA LOGLINE God wants to bring about the second coming of Jesus to absolve man’s new sins. Jesus says, “No, man isn’t worth saving.”

SYNOPSIS The world has not become a better place since the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus' sacrifice was in vain. But he has scarcely noticed as he has been living amongst man as a mere mortal. Jesus has been on a quest to find himself and live his own life for the better part of 2,000 years. And while he has been loving Mary Magdalene, befriending Lucifer and roaming the countryside with Judas, God has been formulating a plan to get His son back to heaven and right the known world. It is on the dawn of this plan (a second coming) that this film opens. God has already revealed his plan of a second crucifixion to Jesus, but He can't force Jesus' hand. Jesus, too, has free will, and He will not go willingly -- not without a fight, an explanation and a promise of better things to come. Even then, His choice is uncertain. Who will he save? The world or himself?

CAST STEPHEN RIDER – Jesus Stephen Rider grew up in Wilmington, Delaware where he graduated from William Penn High School. After high school Stephen went off to college to attend the prestigious Morehouse College where he received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. During his junior year he decided to take an intro to acting class where he received the acting bug. Stephen then decided to take a different direction in life and pursue a career in acting. He then went on to UCLA, where he received an MFA in acting. From there Stephen has gone on to do a host of professional jobs in theatre, television, and film. Stephen can recently be seen in the Denzel Washington directed film, The Great Debaters. He contributes all of his success to his mother and grandmother.

DWIGHT HICKS – God

After a phenomenal career as a San Francisco Forty Niner, Dwight is now creating a successful career in the entertainment industry. He co-anchors and adds his football expertise to the Bay Area’s highly rated KTVU- FOX 49er’s post game show The Point After. Now residing in Southern California Dwight devotes most of his time to acting. His talent has won him roles in several feature films, including Armageddon with Bruce Willis; The Rock with Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage; Jack starring Robin Williams and Bill Cosby. Now he is proud to add Virginia, an independent film release by Warner Bros. on DVD in July 2007. Some of his television credits include co-starring roles on How I Met Your Mother, The OC, Boomtown, ER, The Practice, She Spies, X-Files, The Pretender, Homeland Security and Nash Bridges.

STEVE WEST – Judas Steve West is a British Actor, born and raised in London. Most notable appearances have included the original West End theatre production of Mamma Mia! as well as the Hollywood features Seed of Chuckie and Delovely. With a love of small Independent projects, he has two set for release in ‘09 - Patient 17 and In His Blood and proudly completes a trio with his role as Judas in Crown Prince of Heaven. Currently featured as the “shrimp blogger” in the new Taco Bell commercial.



JOLENE ANDERSEN – Mary Magdalene

Originating from Tsumeb, Namibia, Jolene's family moved to the US, where as a child she found a love for the community theater in her small town in New Jersey. Her family later moved to Colorado where she got her start in theater; her professional debut starring as Katherine in the Denver Victorian Theaters' production of Tennessee Williams' Suddenly Last Summer. A couple of years were spent working with the Universal Stuntman's Association in a Wild West show at Elitch Gardens', "jumping out of windows, busting whiskey bottles over each other's heads, firing big guns...crazy fun!" She soon packed up and moved to Southern California where she started working in film and television. Her latest feature film Macho by Les Enfants Du Cinema, is a simple love story; an unlikely segue way into the tumultuous character of Mary Magdalene in Crown Prince of Heaven. Recently featured in an episode of Criminal Minds. She currently loves life in Los Angeles and is represented by Mavrick Artists Agency.

PAMELA TAYLOR –Virgin Mary

Pamela is an accomplished actor with extensive stage experience. She holds a MFA in Acting from the University of California, Davis and a BA in Theatre from the University of California, Riverside. She is an active member of the Attic Theatre Group here in Los Angeles.

CHRISTOPHER KARL JOHNSON – Joseph

Raised and educated in Europe, studied engineering, worked as project engineer on large construction projects. Went back to Sea as Merchant Mariner (20 + years) early retirement. Started acting by accident in fall of 2006, was bitten by the bug and has fun ever since. Improve my skills and have fun at what I am privileged to do.

AMANDA MICHAELS – Holly aka The Holy Spirit

Amanda Michaels is a stage-trained actress who began her film career in 2007 with a German-speaking role in independent short film. Amanda has appeared in lead and costarring roles in over a dozen short and short-feature films. Amanda attended the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in Los Angeles and graduated with a BA in Study of World Religions with emphases on the study of Buddhism and Christianity.



JUAN CARACCIOLI – Lucifer

Juan Caraccioli was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Central America and grew up in New Orleans. He studied acting in New Orleans, New York, and Los Angeles. His career goals are to be a successful working actor plus artist (painter). He loves to achieve success in every part of his life, which includes his love life. He conquered many hardships and the hardest of all was always conquering himself. He traveled most of the world as a model, and learned much from those travels. He learned about love and enlightened about all sorts of truths that are not taught in books or classes.

JOEL HEBNER – Gabriel

Raised on the waters between the Bahamas and the Florida Keys, Joel Hebner spent the majority of his early life traveling with his missionary family. At the age of 12 the family settled in South Florida where he cultivated a love for the stage thru local drama programs. In 2002, at the age of 21, he made his way to Los Angeles. Since then his accomplishments have included multiple features, short films and a nationally circulated commercial. His experience also spans behind the camera, in the areas of producing, writing, and special effects.

JANALYN WALTON – Marisol

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Janalyn has been acting since the day she was born! She has a BA in Theatre w/a French minor from Florida A&M University. In addition to acting, her other passions are children, modeling, and dancing. Full-time actress and looking forward to the day when that pays the bills!

LESLIE GILLIAM – Candy

Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Leslie Gilliam is a transplant to Los Angeles from New York City where she graduated from the conservatory program at The New Actors Workshop under George Morrison and Mike Nichols. She has been cast in several theatre and film productions in Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles. She was a member of the Chicago-based touring company, Healthworks Theatre, performing HIV and violence prevention plays. Some of her film credits include Family, which was recently screened at the Pan African film festival, the acclaimed independent movie Wrestling and the shorts, Eternity and Came Here Whole. When not performing, Leslie enjoys traveling, eating delicious meals, watching great movies at The Arclight, and singing her heart out in weird karaoke bars.



ELIZABETH AI – Sasha Shu Ling LUCIFER’S WOMAN

Elizabeth Ai grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California. She went on to work for New Line Cinema, Merv Griffin Entertainment and the William Morris Agency. In 2003, she founded and continues to run the nonprofit group Reaching to Embrace Arts. Since then, she has written, produced, and directed several short films, including PostGen: Be the Revolution and Ride On! In 2006, she worked with Harry Kim and David Choe to produce the original series Thumbs Up for VBS.tv. In 2008, she produced the award winning feature documentary, Dirty Hands: The Art & Crimes of David Choe; which premiered at the LA Film Festival and is currently on the film festival circuit. She drinks tea, writes and dwells in Echo Park, CA.

KAI DAVIS – David MARISOL’S SON

At just four-years-old, Kai Davis plays Marisol's child in Crown Prince of Heaven. Kai is an outgoing, fun, and intelligent young actor who takes direction well and delivers a great performance each time. He has appeared in several print ads for Disneyland, Target, and Jupiter Images. Kai has also worked on a KIA Soul automobile commercial, and has been considered for various roles in select feature films. Born in Burbank, CA, Kai is one of four siblings in show business. In addition to acting, Kai also enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and football. He loves to read I Spy books and play with Legos. No matter which path Kai ends up taking in life, he is sure to succeed as he has a very supportive and encouraging family.

KENDAHL LAUREN GARDNER – Young Virgin Mary

A southern woman at heart, Kendahl was born in Houston, TX. It is there she discovered her love for performing. Kendahl believes in creating your own opportunities. She recently wrote and produced a short film, Spin Cycle. She enjoys acting, writing and producing. Kendahl has a bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre from Howard University and is a 2010 candidate for her master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University.



CREW CRYSTAL HOLT - WRITER/DIRECTOR/PRODUCER Crystal Holt is a product of the Illinois Math & Science Academy, has a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and has a MFA in film – directing from Columbia College Chicago. Crown Prince of Heaven screened in the Short Film Corner of the 2010 Cannes International Film Festival. Crown Prince is also a 2010 Weismann Award Recipient. Her previous film Eternity was official selection at the 2004 Spaghetti Junction Film Festival, and her film Happy Birthday won “Best Actor” at the 2007 Sundeis Film Festival. She is an independent filmmaker. She is from East St. Louis, IL, lived as an ex-patriot in Seoul, South Korea and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. This is her 13th film.

JACOB HOWARD - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY Jacob Howard is a cinematographer from Washington D.C. whose work has taken him to a variety of locations across the country and around the globe. His resume includes both fiction and documentary films for a diverse clientele that ranges from MTV documentaries to Lupe Fiasco music videos.

BOBBY HEWITT - EDITOR Bobby Hewitt is the drummer for the band Orgy. He transitioned into shooting and editing music videos, short films and viral content for websites such as Playboy.

SCOTT GUTIERREZ - SOUND DESIGN/STUDIO MIXER Originally from the music industry, Scott Gutierrez has worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. He is now a professional sound mixer. Having worked on films like Two Weeks Notice and Persuasion.
