recognized as a qualification representing a general basic ability in English. KET has been accredited by

the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA), the statutory regulatory authority for external

qualifications in England, and its counterparts in Wales and Northern Ireland at Cambridge ESOL Entry

Level Certificate In ESOL International (Entry 2). This is equivalent to Level A2 of the Common European

Framework of Reference for Languages. For more information about Cambridge ESOL exams, please go

to www.CambridgeESOL.org
