    Follow the map around the suburb and use the clues to identify a leading underworld �gure and their residential address in the early part of the 20th century.

    CLUE A

    This quest starts at Central Station.Aim for the Devonshire Street (Exit G). There are a number of exits from Central Station, check you are at the right one.

    Turn left out of the Devonshire Street exit. Aim for the statues at ‘Imbro American Plaza’.

    Cross o� a suspect whose initials are the same as the last two letters on the bicycle.

    Continue to the next exit from Central Station.

    Turn left onto Devonshire Street and walk to Bourke Street Bakery. Turn right onto Bourke Street.

    Turn right onto Cleveland Street. Then take the second right back onto Crown Street. Walk back to the corner of Crown & Devonshire Street. Turn left onto Devonshire Street. There are 3 more clues to go along this section.

    To return to Central Station continue to the end of Devonshire Street.

    At the Corner of Bourke Street & Fitzroy turn right & takethe left fork along Foveaux Street. Continue to the park Shannon Reserve on the left side of the road. Enter the park.

    Cross o� a suspect who shares a name with the Alderman who o�cially opened Shannon Reserve.

    At the end of the park, turn right & then join Crown Street. Turn left onto Crown Street. Continue to walk along Crown Street. There are no clues along this section, take the time to browse the shops & cafes.

    Walk away from the statues, keeping the murals on the wall on your left hand side. Don’t forget to look at the murals, they give you a good history of the station.

    Outside the Surry Hills Library, take a picture - arrange yourselves in the shape of letters T and Q. Feel free to post to facebook or instagram.

  • Cross Bourke Street at the pedestrian crossing and walk to the church where Wesley Mission are based. Turn left just after the church down Hill Street.

    Walk up the steps in front of you and walk through the plaza. Keep Building B on your right hand side & continue walking until you exit the plaza. Cross Albion Street at the pedestrian crossing and turn right & walk up Albion Street.
