MATERiALS

200g of Araucania Botany Lace for Scarf.

100g of Araucania Botany Lace for Hat.

1 4.00 (USF/5) Crochet Hook.

TENSioN

24sts and 10 rows to 10cm, 4in, over pattern using

4.00mm (USF/5) crochet hook or the hook required to give

the correct tension.

ABBREviATioNS

Tr3tog = Treble 3tog (yoh, insert hook into next st,yoh and

draw through, yoh and draw through 2 loops) 3 times, yoh

and draw through all loops.

Tr2tog = Treble 2tog (yoh, insert hook into next st, yoh and

draw through, yoh and draw through 2 loops) twice, yoh

and draw through all loops.

Scarf

Using 4.00 crochet hook make 54ch.

Foundation Row: (Right side) 3tr into 4th ch from hook,

miss 2ch, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr all into next ch, * miss 2ch, 3tr all into

next ch, miss 2ch, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr all into next ch, rep from * to

last 5ch, miss 2ch, 3tr into next ch, miss 1ch, 1tr into last ch,

turn.

1st Row: 2ch, miss 1tr, 3tr into next tr, * miss 2tr, 1tr, 1ch,

1tr all into next 1ch, sp, miss 2tr, 3tr into next tr, rep from *

to last 2tr, miss 1tr, 1tr into last tr, turn.

1st row sets patt.

Keeping continuity of patt as set (throughout) cont until

Scarf measures 180cm, 71in, ending with a ws row.

Fasten off.

EdgiNg (worked at each end of Scarf) With rs facing,

using 4.00 (USF/5) crochet hook work 1 row of dc divisible

by 3 plus 1 extra stitch.

Next Row: *2ch, 2tr into same dc on which 2ch stands,

miss 2dc, 1dc into next dc, rep from * to end.

Fasten off.

Using 4.00 (USF/5) crochet hook make 110ch.

Foundation Round: 2tr into 4th ch from hook, miss 2ch,

1tr, 1ch, 1tr all into next ch, *miss 2ch, 3tr into next ch, miss

2ch, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr all into next ch, rep from* to last ch, miss

1ch, ss to 1st tr.

1st Round: Slip stitch to centre tr of 3tr, 2ch (2ch count as

1tr), 2tr into same tr on which 2ch stands, miss 2tr, 1tr, 1ch,

1tr all into next ch sp, *miss 2tr, 3tr into next tr, miss 2tr, 1tr,

1ch, 1tr all into next ch sp, rep from* to end, ss to 1st tr.

Rep 1st row 16 times more.

Shape Crown

1st Round: 2ch, tr2tog, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr all into next ch sp,

*tr3tog, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr all into next ch sp, rep from* to end, ss

to 1st tr.

2nd Round: 2ch, 1tr into next tr, tr2tog over next 1tr 1ch

1st Round: *2ch, 2tr into same dc on which 2ch stands,

miss 2dc, ss to next dc, rep from* to end.

Fasten off.

FLoWERS (Work 2)

Using 4.00 crochet hook make 6ch, join with ss to form a

ring.

1st Round: 1ch, (1dc into ring, 3ch) 12 times, ss to first dc.

2nd Round: Ss into each of next 2ch, 1ch, 1dc into same

3ch arch, (3ch, 1dc into next 3ch arch) 11 times, 1ch, 1htr

into top of first dc.

3rd Round: (6ch, 1dc into next 3ch arch, 3ch, 1dc into next

3ch arch) 5 times, 6ch, 1dc into next 3ch arch, 1ch, 1tr into

next htr.

4th Row: (10tr into next 6ch arch, 1dc into next 3ch arch)

5 times, 10tr into next 6ch arch, 1dc into tr that closed

previous round, ss to next st.

Fasten off.
