Critical Care Seminar 2017

Program Details:

Description: The Critical Care Seminar is an annual event designedto provide information on treatment trends and best practice care approaches in the management of the critically ill patient encountered both pre-hospital and in rural central Pennsylvania acute healthcare settings. A key goal of this full day program is to align and coordinate patient care practices throughout the region to improve patient outcomes through a variety of experts and topics.

Purpose: To provide evidence-based topics relative to the care of the critical patient and to enhance practices in healthcare delivery.

Objectives: At the completion of this course, the participant should be able to:

State the importance and implications of evidence-based practice

Discuss the care management of commonconditions in the adult critical care setting

Describe current advanced critical care treatment/therapy modalities to assist patient and families for care transition
