CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

10-inch StackerCut 1 rectangle 3½” x 9½”, 2 squares 3½” x 3½”, and 2 squares 3” x 3” from each of the following assorted print 10” squares: aqua main, yellow main, white main, aqua elephants gray elephants, orange elephants, aqua swirls, orange swirls aqua planes, blue planes, yellow planes, aqua stripe, white stripe aqua triangles, orange triangles, yellow trianglesCut the 3” x 3” squares once diagonally to create 4 triangles from each assorted print.Cut squares 2½” x 2½” in the corresponding number from the following assorted print 10” squares: 1–aqua main, 1–yellow main, 1–white main, 2–aqua elephants 2–gray elephants, 1–orange elephants, 2–aqua swirls 2–orange swirls, 1–aqua planes, 1–blue planes, 2–yellow planes 2–aqua stripe, 1–white stripe, 2–yellow stripe, 1–aqua triangles 2–orange triangles, 1–yellow triangles

Slate ShadeCut 3 strips 5½” x WOF. Cut the strips into 16 squares 5½” x 5½”. Cut each square twice diagonally to create 64 triangles.Cut 10 strips 2½” x WOF. Cut the strips into 40 rectangles 2½” x 9” for sashing.

Aqua MainCut 5 strips 6½” x WOF for Border 1

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics and blocks.

Criss Cross BlockThese instructions are to make 1 block. Sew a slate shade triangle to each side of an assorted print 3½” x 3½” square to create Unit A. Repeat to create 2 Unit A’s.

Sew a Unit A to each side of the assorted print 3½” x 9½” rectangle to create Unit B.

Sew an assorted print triangle on each corner to create the Criss Cross Block. Repeat to create 16 Criss Cross Blocks.

Posts and SashingRefer to quilt photo for post and sashing placement. Sew an assorted print 2½” square to a slate shade 2½ x 9” rectangle. Repeat to make a row with 5 square posts and 4 sashing rectangles. Make 5 rows labeled A.

Sashing and BlocksRefer to quilt photo for sashing and block placement. Sew a slate shade 2½ x 9” rectangle to a Criss Cross Block. Repeat to make a row with 5 sashing rectangles and 4 blocks. Make 4 rows labeled B.

Quilt Center AssemblySee quilt photo for row placement. Lay out rows A and B. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 44½”. Top and bottom borders should be 56½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Oh Boy Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
