For the existence of human beings in society the following fundamentalfactors are necessary unity, social security and peace. What is actuallyrequired under each of these fundamental factors is discussed below.

Unity among the members of any

society or social structure isabsolutely necessary, otherwisethe structure will startdisintegrating. Lack of unityamong the members of societybecause of too much self-interestin the individual members, theformation of groups for economicor social advantage, and the lackof understanding of others actsnot only bring about the downfallof society but also completelyeradicate it from the face of the

earth. Instances of so many groups and empires disappearing altogether are notrare in the little-known history of this world.

The problem, therefore, is the preservation of unity in society. If it is possible toenthuse the members of society with the following they will ensure unity in society a common ideal, a caste-less society, collective social functions and no capitalpunishment.

AMURT & AMURTEL relief teams are working on five islands serving tens of

thousands of people and are expanding operations to assist more communities

affected by Super-Typhoon Haiyan, known locally as Yolanda.

The typhoon devastated wide swathes of the central Philippines and has displaced

4 million people. The official death toll continues to rise well over 5000, making it

the deadliest natural disaster in the countrys history. Thousands are still missing

and more than a million houses have been totally or partly destroyed.

AMURT relief teams on Leyte, Panay and Bantayan islands, and another in

northern Cebu province, have all been providing cooked food and bottled water; a

further team on Samar island assessed the worst-affected areas in preparation for a

possible longer-term recovery intervention.

In Tacloban AMURT has 22 stoves operating around the clock, the only source of

cooked food and rice for the homeless and hungry survivors of the disaster. In

some outlying areas, AMURT also provided basic medical care to the many people

with injuries that remained untreated due to the lack of medical supplies.

ANANDA MARGA IN LOS ALTOS HILLS SENDS WAVES OFBLISS TO THE ENTIRE NEW YORK SECTOR

Sisters and Brothers Namaskar:

RDS was very successfulwith Akhanda Kiirtana at the time of Thanksgiving. Didi

Hiteshana, Didi Tapomaya and Didi Anudhyana were present. Didi Anudhyana is

currently posted in Ananda Dhiira Master Unit. While in Los Altos Hills, Didi Anudhyana

outreached many margii families and Balaram and Suprabha hosted Didi Anudhyana

and also participated in the projects of Balaram, one of the leading Lawyers of Bay Area.

Sally Khanna also hosted Didis. Shubhums mother, Susanne Suzette a new margii, also

hosted and volunteered to drive Didis to Master Unit after Food pick up from Whole

Foods directed by Sister Shivanii. Sister Shailaja Krishnas family had a wonderful time in

Los Altos Hills with Didis. Didi Anudhyana apart from visiting Komala Vilas, Zen Center

also met former Bhukti Pradhan Chandravati at LA Hills. Didis closely worked with

Sister Priti, the last Bhukti Pradhan, picked up foods at Whole Foods.

Didi Anudhyana has unflinching faith in the Mission of Baba to make Ananda Dhiira a

welcome place for all margiis and communities. This is the place to clear ones mind with

peace within. Hikes along the Yuba River is nothing less than Ananda Nagar of Shrii Shrii

Anandamurti of Ananda Nagar. All sisters and brothers are welcome to visit MU. Didi

This reddish earth moves on and on

in the rhythm of dance.

Panforte is a famous Italian dessert that shows up during the winter holidays. It is a cross between a dense

cookie and a rich solid-packed fruit cake. It is always made in a round shape and contains no butter or oil. It

is translates to "strong bread", describing its spicy flavor with the kick of some black pepper and it has been

made since the Middle Ages. It has a history. The Crusades carried panforte on their quests to the Middle

East. The monks and nuns of the Italian monasteries received panforte as an edible tax. It was made in

Siena, which is regarded as the panforte capital of Italy and many bakeries produce it. It is wrapped in

colorful distinctive wrappings. But homemade is very nice. (READ FULL RECIPE)
