Dear Choir members

I go to many events each year and only a few stand out.  Monday evening was one.  The atmosphere, venue, choice of songs, singing – everything was a delight for me, especially the joy in the theatre which showed on many of the faces. 

It was rewarding for me because Sing for your Heart was my idea.  From a young age, I went along to choir practices with my mother and it gave me a love of singing with others and good music and words.  You gentlemen exemplify how much pleasure being part of a choir brings and it showed that night.  You set the tone for what was a highly-entertaining concert which I am sure was enjoyed by everyone.  The youngsters were certainly a credit to their schools and the teachers obviously very dedicated to achieve such a high standard from such a range of ages.  I especially loved the Concert Male Voice Choir – what a great idea.  I was amazed so many got on stage and, from where I was sitting, it was a real sight.

Please would you pass on my sincere thanks to your choir members for their enthusiasm for Sing for your Heart and for making this special event happen.  Thank you, too, for picking Heart Research UK as the charity to benefit from your efforts.  Everything raised that night will be spent on pioneering medical research or Helping Little Hearts near you.  Hopefully, I will be invited along next year to explain where it was used; I will look forward to meeting you again.

Can I just say what a fantastic evening it was. It was brilliant to be involved in such an event. Our choir thoroughly enjoyed performing alongside all the other choirs and they thought the Crewe Male Voice choir were great!! I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and all our choir and parents who came to watch for all your hard work and effort in putting such an event together. I'm still not sure how you managed to organize all the choir especially for the massed numbers but all I do know is it must have taken an awful lot of time and organization.
