manufacture of spiral stairs, making use

of a modular system to offer architects

and specifiers an unrivalled combination

This was like nothing the market had seen

before and helped to establish Crescent as

success, developing our portfolio and

well as spiral, helical and straight flight

stairs, we can also incorporate landing

areas, wheelchair refuges, canopies,

The fact that our stairs are modular in

The flexibility we offer in stair configuration is matched only by

the breadth of finishes we offer, either from our extensive range

of standard components or by developing custom solutions.

Your proposed stair system can be visualised - and then adapted

until you're 100% happy - using our own bespoke software.

A focus on design from start to finish

- via our own powerful CAD system

Our powerful CAD software - unique to

Crescent - is among the most advanced of

its kind, giving us the ability not only to

turn your concept into a detailed working

drawing but also to generate real view

visualisations and photo rendered

animations of the stair in situ. And thismeans you can assess a range of different

design aspects before committing to

final specifications.

Colour will be an important factor and all

components can be supplied powder

coated in virtually any BS or RAL colour or

simply primed or galvanised. We can offer

exceptional flexibility in balustrade design

too, with a choice of verticals, running

rails, plain or perforated sheet panels and

glass infills.

Treads can be supplied in steel (ribbed,

rubber-covered or recessed to accept a

screed or timber infill), in standard or

exotic timbers (plain or recessed for a

carpet infill) or even in glass, while

handrails can be galvanised, powder

coated, PVC covered, hardwood, polished

brass or stainless steel.

In other words, the design permutations

are virtually endless, giving you theflexibility and freedom to create a bespoke

solution at an off-the-shelf price, all built

to be compliant with BS EN 5395 and

building regulations as applicable.

And it is this versatility - the fact that our

staircases can be used to make powerful

architectural statements as well as to solve

practical challenges as economically as
