Creowave Oy is the leading provider of measurement electronics for high-

performance multi-phase metering and telecom radio testing- and fi ltering

solutions. Creowave TETRA repeaters improve radio network coverage in

demanding circumstances. Creowave offers solutions for covering the network

at indoor- outdoor- and explosive ATEX areas. Creowave’s strong technical

knowledge combined with branch- and business knowledge has created a solid

THE DESIGN CHALLENGE

Creowave uses Microwave Offi ce® to design fi lters used in its radio testing

solutions for the telecommunications industry. These solutions include diplexers,

bandpass, bandstop, and high pass fi lters that address spurious emissions,

multiband testing, and passive intermodulation. In addition, Creowave provides

complex solutions customized to meet specifi c customer needs—making fi rst

time design success critical as fi lters have a very short time-to-market window of

opportunity, leaving no room for multiple design cycles.

THE SOLUTION

The Microwave Offi ce unique combination of ease-of-use and powerful

technologies enabled Creowave to ramp up immediately and exceed the

requirements for speed and accuracy. Creowave was able to design the custom

fi lters to very exacting specifi cations, correctly the fi rst time. This saved time

and helped them to deliver products quickly.
