SATCA CREDITS

For each course the calculation credit is given by the amount of lecture hours, laboratory hours, thesis hours or practice hours involved inside the course. The following chart demonstrates the assigned value and the formula used to calculate each course credit. The final result is rounded to its proximately integer number.

For this, 17 weeks of the semester are multiplied by the hour/week of each kind of activity inside the course and divided by the credit assignment of the activity. The total amount of the activities is the result of the course credits.

In the following chart, assigned credits for the Automation Engineering program are shown given by the SATCA system.
