A relatively quiet May gave way to a crazy June, which is good news given that my ancient held-together-by-rust car now looks like its days are numbered. I’ve decided I want to save up for a pink Nissan Figaro, very girlie and definitely ‘me’. Late May and early June has seen me work on lots of different things - flyers and menus, promotional mailers and party invites. I’ve been working on-site in a couple of offices as well as at home, ignoring the housework and watching the rain; glad I’m not missing any sunshine. I’ve tried everything Graduate Collection is a new concept, which works with some of the most exciting design talent to emerge fresh from UK colleges. Graduate Collection helps support designers and turn their collections into reality, from manufacture through to marketing and retail. Graduate Collection is the brainchild of British businessman Mario Forsyth who believes passionately in encouraging home grown talent and British industry. “It is becoming harder and harder for young graduates to get a foothold in the marketplace and show people what they can do, and yet Britain’s colleges are producing some really astonishing individuals. I could write a whole article dedicated to why couples should always try to do this on their wedding day, but getting portraits taken at the start of the day meant that they were free to enjoy the rest of their wedding day without having to leave any part of it to go get pictures taken. We started the day bright and early with the taking of portraits and decided to have a ‘first look’ at the pictures, and got to see each

other before the ceremony. I could write a whole article dedicated to why couples should always try to do this on their wedding day, but getting portraits taken at the start of the day meant that they were free to enjoy the rest of their wedding day without having to leave any part of it to go get pictures taken. A couple should not have to miss any part of their own party! a
