Something to Think About… Beau “the Revco Dog” wanted me to remind you that dogs share their love, too. He found a great video that demonstrates just how much dogs love their owners and how they show it when their owner returns home after a long absence. Go to...

The Month of Love Ah, Valentine’s Day. For many, it’s a time to honor love and romance and enjoy the company of a loved one. For others, it’s a time to just spend money on cards, flow-ers, chocolate and gifts as a sort of obligation.
I’m somewhat of a romantic. I don’t go overboard, but I do enjoy showering my wife, Linda, with a few well thought out presents to let her know that I am thinking of her and I love her.
This month’s edition of FYI has a Valentine’s Day theme. I even adorned the cover with my version of Cupid.
Normally, when we think of Cupid, we
envision the cute little cherub in diaper-like attire and wings. That’s more of the cartoon-like version as my research into him (yes, I sometimes do research into the characters I portray) showed that most paintings or statues of the mythological figure showed him as a young man wear-ing nothing but...wings.
While I toyed with the idea, we decided that appearing nude on the cover of FYI would at least raise a few eyebrows at the Post Office. Hence, I created my own, slightly more reserved version of the son of Mars and Venus.
However you celebrate your St. Valentine’s Day, I hope you enjoy your day. And, remember, for what it’s worth, I Love My Clients! Happy Valentine’s Day.
Client Corner While I often acknowledge new clients in this section, this month I thought it appropriate to recognize and thank a loyal, long-time client in Client Corner.
I want to thank a number of great people at CIGNA. In fact, the folks at CIGNA are some of my oldest clients; my rela-tionship there going back more than 25 years! Over those years, CIGNA has purchased countless numbers and types of products through Revco.
Thank you Gene de Roode, Steve Dan-co, Dave Luke, John Dowling, Brian Longest, Scott Clark here in Connecti-cut, Marc Widzowski in CIGNA’s Georgia facility and most recently Syriean Ray in Minnesota. I truly ap-preciate your business and support.

10-Minute Valentine’s Day Hacks
Some of us guys are a little clueless when
it comes to romantic Valentine’s Day
ideas. Never fear, your Director of Ro-
mance is here with a few romantic ideas
to make your best gal’s day fun and en-
joyable.
1. Use heart cookie cutters. Buy heart-
shaped cookie cutters and use them to
cut fruit, cheese, brownies, and other
snacks into hearts for a DIY look that
will impress your loved ones.
2. Check out Pinterest. If you are uncer-
tain what to get your girlfriend, daugh-
ter or wife, and they have a Pinterest
account, check out their Pinterest Page
for ideas. They likely have “pinned”
ideas about things they like which will
give you shopping inspiration.
3. Buy tickets. An easy last-minute gift
that everyone is sure to love is tick-
ets…it could be to a sporting event,
play, concert, the symphony…
whatever your loved one is into.
4. Use rose petals. Want to create a ro-
mantic atmosphere? Steal from movie
romances by creating a trail of rose
petals. You can buy rose petals much
less expensively than roses. In fact, you
can purchase a bag of 250 fake (but
convincing) rose petals online for only
a few dollars. Not only will it win
brownie points with your loved one, it
will create a great story that she will
enjoy sharing with her friends.
5. Plan a scavenger hunt. Make it as
simple or complicated as you want.
Great fun for kids and adults, you can
leave small clues that lead to your Val-
entine’s Day gift.

Beau’s World I’ve been busy working with
my dad in the office. I told
him that just like when he
rewards me, his loyal friend,
with delicious snacks and
treats, he should also reward his loyal cli-
ents like you. So, I suggested this month’s
“I Love My Clients Valentine’s Dinner
Date” idea. (You can thank me by sending
me cookies if you want!)
So before you forget, read this month’s
newsletter insert so you can learn how to
enter and, maybe, win a dinner for two at
any restaurant of your choice. My dad is
paying for it, so splurge and get the appetiz-
ers, soups, salads, entrees, wine, cham-
pagne, desserts and
anything else you
want. I don’t know
much about romance,
but my dad does and
he said your dinner
could be a really romantic treat during this
month of love. I hope you win!
