CREATING THE POSTER

Using fireworks I imported an image which I believe would be a good image for my poster from my music video and resampled it to size the canvas.I used the burn tool to blacken the edges of the image leaving more space for text and altered the contrast of the image to make the character stand out more.

I saved the image on fireworks as a jpeg and imported it on fireworks. Using the mosaic tile effect, the image became more distorted and effective.

I then added the text of the album name and band name, I increased the tightness of the text, keeping the house style of the album cover, back cover and poster the same.

Here I have added the release date, brand logo, brand company, and used fireworks to alter the size, font and tightness.

Here I decided to alter the image from the right to the centre making the poster look simpler and more professional.
