Creating Profiles
• Profiles must be created from a solved case– Case also includes all projects for final case
• When using MOD FileBuilder to create a profile there are options– Easiest to select All from “Profile Type” list– Type of profile will be appended to the end of file
name• Profiles are essentially capturing the solution
for the case it is created from

Ratings Profile
• When creating ratings profile– Select appropriate seasons represented by each
rating– Selection name is editable and must be consistent
for a case• 16_Summer, 16_Winter, …
• All seasonal ratings should eventually be available for all elements represented in the cases

Uploading and Approval of Profiles
• Similar to projects– Must be applied to a base profile• WECC Staff will upload a blank base profile
– Before profiles are able to be applied to a case they must be accepted• Essentially the same approval process as for projects

Tasks
• Create all profiles(BLG, DevC, Ratings, NSI) for the 2016 Light Winter Case– Rating names need to be consistent across all
profiles so we can build the case• Upload to the BCCS and apply to “16lw1a
BCCS Testing Master (profile type)” base profile
