After this tutorial you will create a film strip with pictures in it and appropriately wrapped with reflection. For this tutorial we are going to use the images below:
To start open a new document in Photoshop 1900px width by 1000px height. Select the custom shape tool from the tool box.
After selecting the custom shape tool from the menu option bar on top click near the preset sample shapes click on the small arrow on the right upper corner this will display a list of preset shapes we need to load the film strip shape to do this click on the small gear icon on the upper right corner and from the drop down list select film strip a pop up box will appear click on append to add the film strip with the rest of the preset shapes.

After you have added the film strip to your preset collection selected make sure the fill is black and drag a copy of the shape on to the empty canvas

Once the film strip is on place we are going to place the images in the appropriate window as follows. Open the photo for your first window it doesn’t matter which one, go to select>all edit> copy go to the film strip document and paste. Select the move tool and place the image inside the window. To fit correctly the image in the film strip window use the transform scale tool and make sure that the layer of the image is below the film strip layer.
Repeat the steps above for the other images into the rest of the film strip windows you should end up with the following results.

After placing all the images we need to merge down all the layers except the background. To merge down the layers select the first layer press the SHIFT key and click the last image layer (remember don’t select the back-ground) once all the image layers including the film strip are selected merge them down you can do so by pressing CTRL+E or go to layer>merge layers. After merging down the layers duplicate the layer to duplicate a layer CTRL+J or layer duplicate layer and click OK place the duplicate layer below the original see image
The next step is to create the reflection. Select the film strip below go to edit>transform> Flip vertical and change the opacity of this layer to 50%

After setting the opacity and flip vertical select the eraser tool from the tool box and set as shown below:

Once the eraser tool is set eraser the lower part of the reflection film strip see image below.
For the final part merge down both layers to merge down repeat what we have done previously and select the wrap transform tool go to edit>transform>warp and from the top menu option bar from the custom warp shapes drop down menu select flag.

At this stage you should have ended up as shown below. Note you can use the transform tool to scale down the image ( edit>Transform>scale) Tip press the SHIFT key while you scaling down to keep the size of the image proportioned.
