Basic Information

Artistic Works Dentistry was founded in May 2013 by the Williams family. Mr. Courtney Williams and his wife Dr. Adrienne Williams. Dr. Williams runs the clinical side of the office while Mr. Williams handles the business side. Artistic Works Dentistry is an expanding business with lots of potential.

Typical day at work usually involves Mr. Williams assigning a list of things needed to be done to Adeena, the front office manager

She then goes on and defers some of those items to us

D.D.S. received a Bachelors of Science in

Biology with Honors from Xavier University of Louisiana

While in dental school, her research in the Health Promotion and Prevention Department was acknowledged with several awards

After receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, she pursued an additional year of training through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at UT-Houston Dental Branch

Obtain a science-related bachelor’s degree Apply to Dental School Work under the supervision of a dentist for

the last two years of dental school Graduate with as Doctor of Dental Surgery

(DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Be certify by the National Board Dental

Examinations. Pursue a specialty if you wish

The Road to Becoming a Dentist

As a dentist you would be required to:◦ Educate patients on oral healthcare◦ Examine teeth and diagnose patients' dental

conditions by using tools such as x-rays◦ Assessing treatment options and agreeing treatment

plans with patients◦ Carry out agreed clinical treatments such as restoring

teeth affected by decay and treating gum disease◦ Maintain patients' dental records◦ Managing budgets and maintaining stocks of

equipment◦ Keeping up with new developments in dentistry

Adeena moved from Toronto to Houston after getting married and had to redo two years of college because her credits didn’t transfer
