Create A Storyboard
Making a Plan for a PowerPoint Show
STEP ONE
• Determine how many slides you will need for your presentation
• Include a title slide – to give the audience an idea of your topic
• One or two slides for each specific ITEM of your topic
• One slide to share your conclusion
STEP TWO
• Use EITHER plain white paper OR Index cards
• On plain white paper, DRAW rectangles to represent each slide – about 4 to a page
• Using index cards, each card represents ONE slide
• Collect writing tools (pencil, pen(s), or colored pencils) and your Survey Plan and Results
STEP THREE
• On each model “slide,” write WHAT will appear in the actual show
• Remember to create a Title, the correct number of content slides, and a conclusion
• When your storyboard is complete, you are ready to create your PowerPoint show.
