Create a short guide entitled: How to Create a Radio Advert Your guide must describe the hardware and software used in the creation of your work in Task 1 (use Logic to create a Radio Advert/Jingle). It should explain/illustrate/analyse the terminology related to sequencing. Including how to record and edit both Audio and MIDI, mixing and bouncing down. 1 - Start the guide with a ‘block diagram’ of the computer, keyboard, soundcard, speakers etc. How To Create A Radio Advert 2 - For each of the following, explain what it is and/or what it does, and how you have used it during this process: Checklist Logic MIDI (include the MIDI keyboard) Software Instrument / Audio channels The Transport Bar (Play, Stop etc, BPM, Metronome) The Inspector (pan, fader, inserts) The Tool Box (pencil, scissors, eraser) Quantizing Automation The Piano Roll Use screen-shots or screen-grabs where appropriate to help you explain the many different functions you have used. 3 - End the guide with an evaluation that answers why you think you were set the task, how successful you believe it went, and what Logic skills you still need to develop.
