Creamed Spinach
This creamy side dish is a refreshing addition to a main meal with just a hint of nutmeg. Serve with pasta, rice or quinoa for a big family meal.
Ingredients
500ml semi-skimmed a2 Milk300g fresh spinachSmall onion, finely diced60ml extra virgin olive oil2 tbsp all-purpose flourGround nutmegGround nutmeg
Method
Steam the spinach over a pan of boiling water and cover.
In another saucepan heat the oil over a low to medium heat, adding the flour and cooking for about two minutes, stirring constantly.
Continue to stir while adding the a2 Milk, diced onions and a pinch of nutmeg. Simmer for about 4-5 minutes.
