CRAIGSLIST ADS – BEST PRACTICE

• Post three different CL ads on a regular basis. One ad should go in each of the categories below:

o Housing – Real Estate for sale (post to Real Estate FSBO)

o Services - Financial

o Services - Real Estate

• Consider working multiple markets. If that’s feasible for you then post to three different cities for greater exposure to borrowers.

• Post new ads or repost existing ads every 48 hours to stay in the top half of the CL page.

• Three separate CL accounts may be required due to CL posting volume limits (currently about 6 ads per week allowed per account)

o For each account, you must have a different e-mail address and phone number (CL will call or text to verify the phone number associated with the account).

• Vary the ad title and body of the posts to avoid CL repeat posting issues and to test for effective wording.

• Track and assess ad performance to see what’s working best.

• After identifying ads which pull a good number of leads you can automate the posting process.

o Outsource to a posting service like the ones below(these have not been confirmed but are possible options):
