Since 2007 I have been working freelance as a graphic designer to financial sustain myself through education. I have tackled a significant number of briefs in this time, most of which under the category of either front end web design or brand conception and development.

At Staples my role was to deal with customers at the copy and print section. This meant handling small scale print jobs, flyers, posters, etc. Although the skills I learned here have been invaluable in my education as a graphic designer, the most beneficial skills learned were client interaction and telephone manner.

SKILLS

I am highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and although I would describe myself as a fundamentally print based designer, I am also proficient in Adobe Dreamweaver and After Effects.

I believe I offer genuinely creative design solutions and while I feel production is of course important, the most important aspect when handling a brief to me is message.

ABOUT ME

When my degree course isn’t pummeling me into nothing, I’m a very social person, and love to spend time with my friends in Leeds’ array of pubs and clubs, I’m also very into my music, mostly electronic music but I also listen to a lot of other genres and artists from Duran Duran to Deicide.
