IMPORTANT INFORMATIONWe are SOOOO excited that you’ve chosen to spend your family’s quality time with us and we want to give you some insider tips on how to navigate your adventures to make the most of your DAY AND NIGHT…

Challenge Your Sense Of Discovery—

Our beautiful park (lovingly known as “The City”) is

NOT your average park…it is filled with adventures

that our founders believed were best experienced

as “surprises”. All the nature (trees and lush

landscaping) that keep us cool and adds to The City’s

charm, coupled with winding pathways, can

sometimes make rides and attractions seem

hidden to first-time visitors.

The BIGGEST KEY to keep in mind for wayfinding is

THAT THE PARK IS REALLY JUST 1 BIG CIRCLE! The

circle starts at the TOP of the park on The City’s

Square and is completed at the BOTTOM of

the park in the NEW Rivertown Area.

(TIP: If you are going downhill you are going

deeper into the park, if you are heading

uphill you are heading back to The City’s

Square and the park entrance.)

Want Fun For The Whole Family? No matter the age, sprinkled throughout The City there’s something for all speeds and thrill levels to be able to enjoy together. Starting at the TOP of the park head RIGHT down Valley Road, cross the truss bridge and take the first LEFT by the Christmas Shop behind which the Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train’s Depot where a journey on the rails around the outskirts of park awaits your crew. Back out on Valley Road continue PAST Time Traveler and onto the giant Pumpkins In The City entry portal next to the Frisco Freight Co. Barn. Here you’ll discover pumpkin fun to the max and at 5:30pm each day the Pumpkin Plaza will open with entertainment, dance parties, pumpkin pal meet

and greets, balloon and face painting fun for all!As you head toward the BOTTOM of the park,

just outside the Woodland Hike, take a break from all the rides and walking with

shows…must-see, crowd favorites are the Silver Dollar City Saloon currently performing Sadie’s Traveling Revue in the Boatworks Theater and FURTHER DOWN in NEW Rivertown Down By The Riverside starring the Rivertown Ramblers at the Dockside Theater.

CITY GUIDE

Needing To Find Kid-Friendly Areas? From the TOP of the park on The City’s Square go RIGHT first, this is Valley Road and is the fastest path to our 3 kid-friendly areas, plus Thunderation and Time Traveler. 1) Half Dollar Holler — Follow Valley Road and turn LEFT at the Christmas Shop to find Half Dollar Holler’s play area for littles. 2) The Grand Exposition — Take Valley Road all the way to the Tater Twist stand and KEEP GOING STRAIGHT through the Pumpkins In The City Entry Portal. VENTURE PAST the 30-ft tall pumpkin scarecrow greeter and around other brilliantly illuminated carved giantswhere you’ll find The Grand Exposition filled with 10 family-friendly rides. Here’s where most little ones take their first coaster ride aboard the mini-coaster, The Grand Exposition Coaster!

3) Fireman’s Landing — Back on Valley Road, round the corner and GO PAST the Tater Twist stand where the Pumpkins In The City Entry Portal lies. You’ll round the next corner too GOING PAST the Woodland Hike where you’ll find Fireman’s Landing on the right with the pumpkin-style 14-ft tall Lucky The Rescue Dog® to greet you. Here you’ll discover 10 more family adventures including the climate-controlled Fire Station No. 3 with multi-level interactive play and where you can meet the real Lucky (see times on page 6). (TIP: SAVE TIME & FRUSTRATION by getting your kiddos measured at the Fireman’s Landing Measuring Station located in the Fire Station. Once measured they will be given a wristband to wear for the day that denotes their height and won’t have to be measured again at other rides. PLUS, we suggest you write your cell phone number on the wristband so that we can contact you right away if you get separated from your child!

SILVER DOLLAR CITY PATHFINDER • NEWS TO CROW ABOUT PAGE 3

The experience begins on The City’s Square at the TOP of the park with fantastic one-of-a-kind photo ops like the nearly 2-story tall pumpkin tree. Head to the RIGHT down Valley Road and meet the first of numerous charming pumpkin icons paying homage to our Master Craftsmen including a blacksmith, candy maker and glassblower as well as the debonair Time Traveler® greeter. (TIP: While it's all about the pumpkins, there are NIGHT RIDES throughout the park, along the way, sure to entertain all ages.)At the end of Valley Road, you’ll be welcomed by the Pumpkins In The City Entry Portal archway and cheerful pumpkin festoon lights soaring overhead as you make your way to Red Gold’s Courtyard. During the day and into the afternoon, you can marvel at demonstrations from master pumpkin carvers and explore crafts at the Makers’ Market in the nearby Frisco Freight Co. Barn. You’ll also encounter the 30 ft-tall pumpkin scarecrow greeter crafted and adorned by our very own team of expert pumpkin carvers in front of Red Gold.(TIP: This is the most photographed icon of all during the Harvest celebration…don’t miss your photo opportunity here at the front of Red Gold Heritage Hall.) Then, you’re on your way to explore The Grand Exposition filled with 10 family rides and featuring a collection of 4 fanciful oversized pumpkin icon sculptures including a totem of friendly bats, a not-so-scary spider, a happy cat welcoming owl and more. From the Grand Exposition, the Pumpkin Plaza opens its gates at 5:30pm each evening, the perfect setting for a pumpkin party! Giant inflatable scarecrows dance as guests browse glow gear, enjoy face painting

and balloon art and get photos with Pumpkin Pals, Peter & Penelope. Snack shacks feature delectable fall treats including Waffle Cones, Caramel Apples, Apple Dumplings and more. The Plaza Stage showcases special entertainment from the boys of Prince Ivan complete with dance parties each hour! After exploring the Pumpkin Plaza, make your way to the Woodland Hike lined with even more intricately carved pumpkins featuring adorable woodland creatures and scenes evoking the outdoors and nature. As you exit the Woodland Hike and round the corner to the RIGHT, you’ll spy a friendly face ready to greet you from the roof of Lucky’s Toys – a brand-NEW Lucky The Rescue Dog® pumpkin sculpture. Lucky is the first NEW creation you’ll encounter as you discover the All-NEW EXPANSION at the BOTTOM of the park.

Continuing to Rivertown, the NEW family raft ride adventure, Mystic River Falls,® gets the pumpkin treatment, while happy bats smile down from the rooftop and eves of the Riverfront Playhouse. And, at NEW Rivertown Smokehouse, a trio of barnyard animals stack atop one another. Another All-NEW feature in Rivertown is the Garden of Giants – 8 real half-ton pumpkins grown by master gardeners right here in the USA! Stop by to marvel at these homegrown beauties, with whimsical names

like “Mighty Mabel” and “Gus The Great”, before heading off to enjoy the rest of the park and rides like Outlaw Run®, WildFire® and more!(TIP: If you prefer to experience the thrills first, you can always reverse course and start your Pumpkins In The City adventure in NEW Rivertown OR go backwards to enjoy it all a 2nd time!)

Craft Your Way Around The City— Here at The Home of American Craftsmanship, you’ll find stunning handmade works of art from demonstrating master craftsmen all season long. During fall, The City welcomes scores of visiting artisans from across the nation to share their incredible talents…

The Square & Beyond: As you step onto The City’s Square, you’re greeted with a vibrant collective of craftsmen displaying exquisite creations and time-honored arts including cooperage (barrel making), blacksmithing, woodturning, leathercraft and pottery. In addition, browse a variety of handmade jewelry,

décor, apparel and home goods throughout the park. Makers’ Market: Head to the RIGHT from the TOP of the park down Valley Road to the Frisco Freight Co. Barn (next door to the Pumpkins In The City Entry Portal) for the Makers’ Market, showcasing trending creations and vintage wares from a variety of visiting artisans. This casually elegant marketplace features a wide variety of unexpected items to explore including stylish home décor, unique jewelry, home fragrance and much more.Cowboy Emporium & Cowboy Corral: Meet Gunsmoke legend, current Yellowstone star and Western watercolor artist Buck Taylor in the Carousel Barn at the BOTTOM of the park at the far edge of NEW Rivertown (next door to Tom & Huck’s RiverBlast®). He joins a gathering of artists, authors and craftsmen who embody the essence of the West. From saddlery and moccasins to horseshoe art and hand-painted turkey feathers, there’s so much to explore. And, just around the corner from the Carousel Barn, the Cowboy Corral beckons guests with the aroma of chuck wagon cooking demonstrations and the authentic Silver Dollar City stagecoach.
