CRAFT TUTORIAL

{You will need}

• Awoodenpictureframe~ I used an old pine framed mirror from The Range which cost about £10.00 • Burlap/hessianfabric~ You can find this for sale on Etsy or Ebay, mine cost £1.95 for one metre• MiniClipboards~ Again these were from The Range and cost 0.99p each• JuteString/Twine• A4Paperstockofyourchoice• Feathers~IfoundmineonEtsy• Cornerpunch• Scissors

{One} FirstofallIdesignedatemplateforeachtableinphotoshop.Thesetemplatesareavailableasafreedownload.FirstofallyouwillneedtoprintthetablenumbersontoA4paper.Thenusingthesecondtem-plate,addintheNamesofyourguestsandprintontotheassociatedtablenumbersyouhavejustprinted,currentlythereare10rowsinthetemplate(for10peoplepertable),justremovethenumberofrowsthatarenotneeded.

{Two}Onceprinted,cuttheA4sheetsinhalflengthwaysandtrimtheexcess,thisshouldgiveyouonesheetofcardpertable,withatablenumberandnamesprintedontoit.Nowusingacornerpunch,trimoffthecornersofeachsheettogivethemaniceroundededge.Thenaddtheprintedsheetstotheclipboards.

{Three} Measureoutthreelengthsofjutestringperclipboard(tothedesiredlengthtohangontheframe,withalittleleftovertosecureinplaceattheback).Iplattedthreepiecesofstringperclipboardtogiveitaniceeffect,securingtothehangingholewhichisattachedtotheclipboard.

{Four} Iremovedthemirrorfromtheframe(ifyouareusingapictureframeratherthanamirrorjustusetheMDFbacking)andlaidtheburlapfabricoverthetopofthemirror,trimmingofftheexcessfabricsothereisjustaslightoverhangtowraparoundtheback.Lieitdownonthefloorforthispartasitwillbeeasiest.Nextplacetheclipboardswhereyouwantthemandoverhangthestringroundtheback,secureinplacewithmaskingtape.Thenlaytheframeoverthetopandsecureinplace,eitherwiththetagsontheframeormaskingtapearoundtheedgestokeepitinplace.

{Five} Iadornedmyframewithfeathers,someIbunchedtogetherandwrappedwithtwine,othersIleftloose,youcaneitherpintheninplaceorusedoublesidedstickydots.FinallyIaddedthreebowstothetopframes,theseweremadeusinglongstripsofleftoverburlapwhichIfrayedalittleattheedges.Theprettyflowersnexttomytableplanweredisplayedinanoldvintagemilkjugandsatatopawoodenlog,theseareamixtureofTomPiercleBronzeBloom,RedOakLeavesandHypericumBerries.
