Hot glue the felt to the pinecone one section at a time, adjusting the felt as you go for the best fit. Tip: You may need to cut slits in the felt to reduce bubbles and to ensure the felt lies flat. 3. Cut off any excess felt. MATERIALS: • 1 large pinecone 1 9" x 12" sheet red felt 1 9" x 12" sheet black felt • Cardboard Hot glue gun & hot glue sticks • Scissors 4. Once you’ve covered the pinecone, cut a piece of black felt in an oval shape and hot glue it to the top of the pinecone car. 5. To make the wheels, cut two 1-inch circles of black felt and two cardboard circles slightly smaller than your black circles. 6. Then cut two 3/4-inch circles of red felt. 7. Hot glue the black circles to the cardboard ones (wrapping the edges to cover the cardboard). Then glue the red circles in the center of the black ones. 8. Hot glue the finished wheels to both sides of the car. 9. Play with your new car! NOTE: Use caution and have adult supervision when using hot glue guns.
