REACTS TO A HAZARD BEFORE YOU MIGHT
KEEPS YOU IN A SAFE POSITION
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
By reading the markings on the road beneath you, this technology triggers an on-screen message and sounds an audible alert if you accidentally cross into another lane without indicating.
LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM
On a long drive, you’ll truly come to appreciate the magic of Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). When you switch the system on, LKAS will read the lane and sense as you drift from its centre, this technology applies corrective steering to maintain perfect lane position.
COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM
If you happen to miss the FCW and a collision is likely, the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) will go one step further by applying the brakes. This helps to mitigate the severity of an accident that’s unavoidable.
ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION SYSTEM
If the Road Departure Mitigation System detects that you are drifting out of a lane with solid lines without signalling, you’ll be steered gently back into the lane. In rare cases, gentle braking will be applied to keep you safe.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH LOW-SPEED FOLLOW
By detecting the vehicle in front of you, this lets you maintain a set speed and following distance. Even in start and stop traffic conditions, Adaptive Cruise Control knows to keep your distance.
