Council Rock School District Public Meeting of Academic Standards at 6:30 PM Board of School Directors at 7:30 PM Thursday, April 7, 2011 Chancellor Center Board Room AGENDA I. Call to Order This meeting is a public session of the Council Rock Board of School Directors. This meeting is being recorded by the Council Rock School District and may be recorded by members of the audience. II. Routine Actions A. Pledge of Allegiance National Anthem  Bucks County Music Educators Association  Middle School Musicians Messers. Hauslein, Rudat, and Frank B. Roll Call C. Student Advisory Board  CRHS South  Mr. Funk D. Superintendent’s Report  E. Public Comment (30 minutes) Public comment is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Board. We would ask that you limit your comments to no longer th an three minutes. Please consider the fact that there may be young children in the audience or watching this broadcast live on CRTV when speaking. It is our goal to maintain a respectful environment so that members of our community have an equal opportunity to address the Board without interruption. While the Board welcomes your ideas and will consider them in deliberating an issue, we may not respond to your comments or questions. III. Items for Board Approval 1. Acceptance of Independent Audit Report  Mr. Reinhart BA MEM BA AUDIT The Administration recommends the acceptance of the 2009- 2010 Independent Auditor’s Report as contained in the Attachment to this Agenda. The report is a “ clean audit” with no findings.  2. Approval of 2011 Graduation Date  Mr. Klein SO MEM The Administration recommends approval of the 2011 graduation date and time. 3. Bid Approvals  Mr. Reinhart Bid #11-16  Student Handbooks BA SUM Bid #11-18  Softball and Baseball Backstop Bid BA SUM BA AGR 4. Approval of Agreement  Dr. Lambert HR MEM HR AGR The Administration recommends approval of the Special Services Agreement (as part of a student’s IEP) with Associated Production Services, Inc. as contained in the Attachment to this Agenda. 5. Approval of Energy Purchases  Mr. Schneider FA MEM The Facilities Committee recommends approval of the purchase of 1 00% of the District’s electricity generation to GDF Suez at a natural gas price lock of $4.44 000/MMBtu for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012. ($4.44000/MMBtu equates to a generation cost of $0.07099/kWh).
