This qualifi cation will give you the specialist skills to advance your career in the security industry and increase your potential to earn in a management or supervisor role. If you want run your own Security Business, this qualifi cation is mandatory to apply for a Private Security Business Licence in the state of Victoria.

This qualifi cation is available to be completed over a range of delivery models, including weekday, evening and weekend. Delivery ensures that all Victoria Police – Licencing & Regulation Division (LRD) minimum face-to-face training hours are met for a Private Security Business Licence.

This qualifi cation is designed to build the skills and knowledge to be an integral senior team member in the Security Industry. Students are introduced to the leadership and management skills required to operate a successful security business, including important people skills and workplace health and safety. This course builds deeper knowledge about the assessment of risk and threats and places an emphasis on the higher level customer service and client relationship skills required to manage a client’s risks and environment.

This qualifi cation provides the opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge and experience to operate as a:

• Security Industry Supervisor or Manager Risk Assessment O� cer• Site Manager or Regional Manager• Running your own licenced security business in Victoria
