The Engineering Council Standards - UK-SPEC and ICTTech Standard - state the requirement for all professionally qualified engineers and technicians to undertake CPD (Continuing Professional Development). They also require all licensed PEIs to have policies to support and monitor their members' CPD. To support this, the Engineering Council has produced a Professional Development Code for individuals and a statement on Achievement and Monitoring of CPD for the PEIs and their members. These documents are accessible through the PCEUAE Website, www.pceuae.com . PCEUAE aims to provide members with opportunities to meet the requirements set out in the UK-SPEC and in the ICTTech Standard and by individual PEI ‘s. This is provided through relevant voluntary advice, suggestions, support and other input to Committee by members.
