WHAT IS COB?

**Understanding the COB Technology:

COB stands for Chip on Board LED (light emitting diode) modules

COB is a new technology of LED packaging for lightning devices and consists on multi

LED chips, which are packaged together as one lighting module that looks like a flat

chip (image on the left).

Compared to traditional lighting, COB LED modules are super bright for the small space they occupy. It performs

traditional lighting by up to 50 times the light output per centimeter of light surface and provides significant

advantages over traditional LED lamps, such as better temperature management, greater lumen output and

absence of glares and zebra strips.
