CPA & CFA India Tour - May 2008 May 2008 - Senior leaders from Becker Professional Review and Morgan International, in partnership with New Horizons Educational Institute, will be conducting CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) seminars and workshops in a 7-city India Tour from May 20 to 28, 2008. The Tour will be hosted by Steven Chou, Becker’s Director of International Operations, Fadi Ganni, Morgan International’s Managing Partner, Krishan Sharma, CEO of New Horizons Educational Institute and Darren Degraaf, Senior Manager at HSBC Bank Vancouver and part-time instructor with the Stalla Review for the CFA Exams. Seminars in each city will introduce the CPA and CFA designations, their benefits, with a detailed explanation of the curriculum, exams, Learning system and tips for the CPA/CFA exam preparations. Each seminar will be followed by a workshop during which the speakers will explain and provide a sample lecture using the Stalla CFA 2008 System. The demonstration will be followed by a live learning experience with Mr. Darren Degraaf, CMA, CFA, CPA, PRM, who will be covering a study session from CFA Level I curriculum. Candidates will receive sample material to follow through the demo lecture and have the opportunity to ask the experts questions in a final Q&A session. “We had a very successful trip during our last visit to India. We had the opportunity to visit many well- known corporations and strengthen existing relationships with such companies as Deloitte & Touche, American Express Genpack, Wipro and more. We also conducted many information sessions to share details about the CPA and CFA credentials as well as conduct sample classes to showcase our Becker and Stalla teaching methodologies.
