Procedures (SOP) & Social Distancing Guidelines

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is our utmost priority to protect our students, staff, external serviceproviders and contractors by upholding high standards in health and safety procedures.
These SOPs were created to provide compulsory and informative guidelines based on best practices toreduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 among our community and to maintain a SAFE environment tolive, play, work and learn:

• Students travelling inter-state are advised to request these letters from this link at least 3 days before departure:

Fill up the form at bit.ly/returnthm at least 24 hours before arrival at Taylor’s Hostel.

Mandatory10-day self-isolation
A temporary room in U Residence will be assigned to you. You must
also complete the Home Assessment Tool (HAT) form.
NOTE: If this SOP is breached, restart another 10 consecutive days.
Temperature & MySejahteraScreening, Luggage Sanitising
Anyone with temperatures above 37.5ºC will NOT be allowed to enter.
Submit negative COVID-19 test result
(RT-PCR only)to be exempted from self-isolation
NOTE: Test fees borne by student. Test results are only valid for 3 days and will not
be accepted if expired on or before arrival.
PLEASE NOTE:After completing the self-isolation period, any student who has spent more than 24 hours
outside the hostel must resubmit their Health Declaration at bit.ly/returnthm .

UPON QUARANTINE COMMENCEMENT :

Anyone with temperatures above 37.5ºC will NOT be allowed to enter.
Submit COVID-19 test results (RT-PCR only)
NOTE: Test fees borne by student. Test results are only valid for 3 days. If the first test results are no longer valid /
acceptable, students may be required to take another COVID-19 test at KLIA.
UPON ARRIVAL AT KLIA :
PLEASE NOTE:After completing the self-quarantine period, any
student who has spent more than 24 hours outside the hostel must resubmit their Health
Declaration at bit.ly/returnthm .
POSITIVEServe quarantine at designated hospital
NEGATIVEServe 7-10 days
quarantine at NADMA centre
Mandatory self-quarantine for 4-7 days (to complete 14 days)

Anyone with temperatures above 37.5ºC and/or ‘High Risk’ status in MySejahtera will NOT
be allowed to enter
Office CleanlinessOffice to be sanitised regularlyWorkstations to be sanitised and cleaned 2 times a day
Waste DisposalTo provide separate closed bin for staff to dispose of
used face masks

Only ONE (1) person at any time using printer / pantry /
