We are pleased to welcome Aldo as part

of our Legacy Team! Although he has

been in the food industry for over 30

years, Aldo is an outstanding singer and started his career at

16 years old in New York City working with various record

labels. He has had the opportunity to meet some famous

musicians such as Madonna and Stevie Nicks! On his free

time, Aldo is still pursuing his music career and is recording

his very first solo album.

December has some good classes in store for us!

On December 5th Bob Sagan is back with his Broadway Show

Stopper presentation. Come to relax in the Media Room at 2:30 pm

and listen to some great show tunes that will bring back memories.

The mother-daughter story telling duo, Stories Galorious will be back

on December 12th to entertain us with their latest tale, "British Isles

and Beyond". Join in at 3:00 pm in the Media Room for great

entertainment.

On December 27th Beth Brancato will be back with pictures and

stories from her trip to Bali! Join us in the Media Room at 2:00 pm

to learn about this great culture and see some amazing pictures.

Presents "Hoodie" at FLCC. Some of our

residents will be singing!

Tis the Season!

The lights are glistening , all

the trees are trimmed, and

the community is in full

holiday spirit. We are all

settling in for a season of

celebrating and welcoming

new neighbors. The Fairways

will be filled with Holiday

Carolers and many holiday

favorites, as we welcome the

New Year! We look forward to our annual Family Holiday Party on

December 8th, where we welcome you and your family to a holiday

extravaganza, featuring a very special guest, Santa Claus. On behalf

of myself and the entire Fairways team, we wish you and your

family a wonderful healthy holiday season.

Cover StoryThere are many holiday events this

month to get everyone in a cheerful

spirit. Even if the sun isn't shining in

Rochester, it will be shining here at the

Legacy with all of our Holiday activities.

We are excited for residents to

bring their families to our Holiday

Party on December 8th in the Activity

Room at 2:00 pm. There will even be a

special guest appearance by Santa

Claus! On December 9th we are taking a

trip to FLCC to see our own residents,

Paul and Ellie Robinson, in a

special performance with the Finger

Lakes Chorale. The chorale is made up

of 75 singers who love to sing and want

to spread joy. The Robinsons have been

in the group for about a year and are

very excited for their holiday

performance after taking a break from

the chorale over the summer.

Path to Well-Being

This past month, members of the DECA Club from Victor High School

collaborated with Residents and they learned more about the club and its

members, which prepares emerging leaders for a career in marketing,

finance, hospitality and management around the globe. Several of the

students are also Servers in our Dining Room. Residents were also asked by

the students to help them prepare for an upcoming competition, and

gained wonderful knowledge from our Residents who were former leaders

in a variety of areas.

On December 13th, we will welcome the Young Men’s Leadership Group

from the Victor Middle School who will host a holiday get together and

spread some holiday spirit. Join us in the Activity Room at 3:00 pm to meet

more local students!
