I am a seasoned attorney with a strong corporate legal background, including General Counsel, intellectual property, corporate transaction, telecommunications, including software, network operations and construction (outside plant, fiber). I hold a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. I am seeking a senior counsel or senior management position at a stable, growing company that would benefit from my business and legal expertise.
My most recent position was Senior Vice President of Legal and Compliance for CHR Solutions, Inc. As such, I have solid experience structuring, drafting, negotiating and facilitating an extreme array of complex contracts, while ensuring the protection of intellectual property. My experience also includes managing all manner of corporate matters, such as employment issues, investor relations, corporate secretary duties and support of the Human Resources and Finance Departments, as well as the interaction and management of outside counsel.
You may also note my strong project management experience with Compaq Computers, BMC Software, and other technology companies, which includes partner relations and strategic alliances, software and hardware joint-development and licensing agreements. I also possess significant start-up experience which includes business entity formation and equity fund-raising.
