My name is Mohit Kumar; I am an Electrical engineer with over Nine (9) years of Offshore Design experience involving FEED and Detail Engineering for Oil and Gas Onshore and Offshore projects (FPSO, Fixed Platforms, Jack-Up Drilling Rig, Mobile Offshore Production Unit, LQ). I am currently employed with Samsung Heavy Industries India Pvt. Ltd. The concern deals with engineering, procurement, commissioning (EPC) & installation of offshore plants and Shipbuilding (Head quartered in Geoje, S. Korea) In the current capacity of Dy. Manager, my key responsibilities include Basic and Detailed Electrical Engineering and preparation of critical deliverables, Modeling and analysis of engineering requirements for a given project, and to liaise with the client, the project team, vendors and site establishment to ensure conformity of electrical engineering activities with the overall project plan, client requirements, and the company Quality Policy. Also possess additional experience of Equipment Inspection, Testing & Commissioning. I have worked with IEC, NORSOK, and DNV based projects in North Sea as well. I am a growth driven professional with strong technical skill and a learning & persevering approach. I continuously strive to better my learning and qualifications.
