Dear Sir/ Maddam, It is with great enthusiasm that I am writing to apply for the position as Host, greeting the Clubs VIP & Hospitality guests. Soon to be starting upper sixth at a Performing Arts School as Deputy Head Boy, I feel I have experience through hosting families around school and conducting tours; I would like to embellish this experience through becoming a host, to expand my knowledge within the hospitality business. I have a strong interest in the hospitality and customer-facing sector of a business, as this is where my experience lies and creating an enjoyable yet professional environment for the customer. I also have a strong passion for the club being a life long supporter and travelling to every home game as a season ticket holder, I feel this passion will help create a better service for the customer through my knowledge of the club and its history. As you will see from my attached CV I have built my career on the stage and gained my experience in a performing arts school through many productions and live concerts for charity, which I believe, would be an asset to the position of a host. I believe my confidence on stage can help to provide the best service and a memorable experience to the customers at the Club, as I believe all customers should be provided with the upmost respect and full attention. I also believe that communication is an important factor of this job and I feel this is one of my main personal attributes, to be able to talk to any customers and create a personable environment to any returning customers. I have also lived in three countries, gaining my ethnic awareness and cultural sensitivity which is another personal asset of mine and also having lived in Bangkok, Thailand for 2 years doing my IGCSE’s, I have learnt a small amount of Thai. In closing, I am thrilled at the possibility of being involved in the hospitality department of Leicester City Football Club. I appreciate your time and consideration and look forward to hearing back from you.
