I hold a MD degree in Pharmacology from King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital and Seth G.S. Medical College, Parel, Mumbai. I have worked in Merck Serono Worli, Mumbai during
my Industry posting from 16 November 2013 to 15 December 2013 during second year of my MD Pharmacology course. I have worked as Sub-Investigator in Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, Parel, Mumbai, from 12 September 2013 to 11 November 2013.
The position of Medical Advisor appeals to me as it combines excellent organizational skills with technical managerial responsibilities. I have organized “Mock NDAC session” under the guidance of Dr. Urmila Thatte, in Pharmatech-2015. My winsome presentation skills are acknowledged by everyone in KEM Hospital, Mumbai. My passion towards public speaking motivated me to volunteer as a speaker in GCP training programmes and Pharmatech-2015
where my oratory skills and good lexicon were put to use when I gave speeches on “Effective Literature search” and “Body Language in an interview” respectively.
I have won FIRST PRIZE, “Dr. U. K. Sheth award” for oral presentation in clinical trials/studies
category at South Asian Chapter of American College of Clinical Pharmacology (SAC-ACCP), Seventh international Annual Conference held in Mumbai, April 2014 for my study: Rao RP,
Shetty YC, Kulkarni UJ, Khopkar US, Rege NN. Awareness amongst Physicians of a Tertiary Care Hospital regarding Rational Use of Medicine (RUM): A Questionnaire based Study.
My commitment towards learning helped me achieve good academic results. I got well versed with literature search and scientific writing rules while writing my research thesis and
various other scientific papers during MD Pharmacology under the guidance of Dr. Nirmala N Rege.
I am confident that with strong hold in topics like Clinical Pharmacology, Regulatory affairs and Medico-Marketing, and with my passion for Public speaking and the English language I will be able to fulfil all my responsibilities as a Medical Advisor.
