• Also use students to road-test sample bags

• All designed by first year graphic design students

• Why? – appeal to wider range of Coventry students

• Who chose? – Green group, head of library, group of students

What was gained?

• Closer links to department

• Good design

• Student involvement

• Bag

• Now have water bottles by same designer – another green initiative

• Therefore have a theme/alternative brand?

Beyond the bag!

• Cheap

• Bags are sold, therefore initial expense will be recovered

• PUBLICITY – launch through SOURCE, SU, university publicity, Facebook page

• DURHAM’s Social networking bag page
