Course ScheduleJ-Term 2017
J-Term Policies and Procedures
1) Registration for J-Term begins on October 17 for current and returning students via WesleyWeb. All holds must be cleared
before students may register. A maximum of four (4) credits is permitted during the J-Term.
2) Registrations for Wesley students entering in Spring 2017 and students in the Washington Theological Consortium will begin in
mid-November. Credit-seeking students from other institutions should contact Wesley Admissions at (202) 885-8659.
3) Book lists and any pre-course assignments will be posted on the Wesley J-Term website (www.wesleyseminary.edu/JTerm)
after October 19. It is the student's responsibility to check the website for pre-class reading and writing assignments.
4) DROP POLICY: Cancellations must be completed on WesleyWeb or received in writing prior to December 16, 2016 to receive
a full refund of tuition charges. Students canceling after the registration deadline through the first day of class will be charged a
$100 fee. Students cancelling after the first day will be charged the full tuition and payment is expected.
Non-attendance does not constitute a cancellation. Drop forms are available on the web or from the Registrar's Office.

A form of printmaking that utilizes positive and negative space through relief carving. Students will explore

Introduction and exploration of design options and basic fabrication techniques for the creation and
construction of a pulpit, lectern, table frontal, portable banner, or stationary fiber work for worship. Student
chooses option and purchases materials in a class field trip exploring colors, textures, values, etc. of
available fabrics. This practicum does not have a lab fee.
