TheUKsleadingproviderofdermoscopyeducation

Dermoscopy UKhasbeenprovidingdermoscopy educationintheUKsince2002.Sincethenover3,500clinicianshaveattendedaDermoscopyUKcourse.

Dr.JonathanBowlingperformedthefirstnationwidesurveyofdermoscopypracticeintheUKin2003.HepresentedhisfindingsattheEuropeanAcademyofDermatoVenereology in2003.HisresultsshowedalackoftrainingindermoscopywasasignificantbarriertoconfidenceinuptakeanduseofdermoscopyintheUK.

Overthefollowing17yearsJonathanpioneeredanddevelopedcoursesanddeliveredtrainingindermoscopyextensivelyacrosstheUK.

Hisfirstcoursesweredirectedtowardstrainingdermatologistsondermoscopy.HethendevelopednewcoursestotrainGP’s,particularlythosewithaspecialistinterestindermatologyandfinallycoursesspecificallyforplasticsurgeons.
