Training Class I THREE-DAY HANDS-ON INTENSIVE TRAINING CLASS

Biocompatible dental restorations cast in the SAE one-piece method in a CrCoMo alloy, combined with spark erosion machined SAE-Attachments. With special materials and equipments and supported by a slide presentation and manuscript, our qualified staff will show you how to manufacture a combined dental restoration made of CrCoMo alloy, using the method of SAE-Spark-Erosion and the micro plasma and laser welding technique. Training program: The participants will fabricate a cast framework situated on a master model with three abutments, incorporating SAE-Attachments. The master model and framework are provided. Each participant may choose from the following attachments each: SAE-Swivel-Latch SAE -Special-T-Attachment or SAE Individual Attachment incl. Friction Pins along with two SAE Telescopic Crowns and Friction Pins. The choice of attachment should be announced via fax (4 weeks prior to class begin), in order for us to co-ordinate preparations accurately. Purpose of the intensive training: - the fabrication of perfectly seated metal framework casts in a base alloy using our experienced method of the horizontal one-piece casting technique, - the employment of the SAE-Spark-Erosion-Method and - the hands-on experience of this procedure by the participants All participants should be skilled in the fabrication of crowns and bridges and hold general knowledge of casting frameworks. Fabrication of a cast – milled bar connection/mesostructure in CrCoMo on four implant abutments on teeth 43, 45 and 33 , 35 using a special model for erosion machining After completion of the mesostructure, the framework is treated with spark erosion to achieve a passive seat. Next the suprastructure, as a simple cast bar coverage is created in CrCoMo. The addition of two SAE Swivel Latches and two or three SAE Friction Pins is required. A full acrylic completion of the restoration does not occur during this class.
