Course Syllabus OBLIGATIONS AND CONTRACTS Jay L. Batongbacal 2nd Semester SY 2011-2012. MW 830-11am The basic text is Tolentino, Arturo. Commentaries and Jurisprudence on the Civil Code of the Philippines. Any edition will do. Unless otherwise indicated, numbers below refer to articles of the New Civil Code. Students are required to read the all commentaries corresponding to the provisions indicated. Students are strongly advised to read all cases in the original. The basic text is Tolentino, Arturo. Commentaries and Jurisprudence on the Civil Code of the Philippines. Any edition will do.

Unless otherwise indicated, numbers below refer to articles of the New Civil Code. Students are required to read the all commentaries corresponding to the provisions indicated. Students are strongly advised to read all cases in the original.

The schedule of assignments over the course the semester is laid out in the table at the end of these instructions. Such assignments are to be followed strictly unless otherwise instructed by the professor. More than ample allowance has been made for possible holidays, calamities, absences, or other contingencies.
