What’s different about Honours-level classes?

• enriched course content

• more intensive work load

• requirement for students to take ownership of their learning

• expected maturity level

Choosing an Honours course does not guarantee that you will get

it. The department selection process takes into consideration:

• work habits & attendance

• participation in class

• understanding of higher-level concepts

• problem-solving ability & critical thinking

• academic achievement
