Semi-Permanent Makeup

These procedures, also known as 'micropigmentation' are without doubt one of the most beneficial and popular treatments in the beauty industry today. The treatment which implants mineral pigments into the shallow 'dermal' layer of the skin is appealing to those who are looking to refresh and enhance features.

The initial procedure is completed over two separate treatment sessions spaced approximately four to six weeks apart, the second or 'follow up' treatment is to fine tune colour density and ensure pigments have retained uniformly. The treated area will remain quite dark for approximately 5 - 7 days post procedure but then fades to reveal a much softer result.

Long term maintenance:

Pigments will fade over time and become fainter but generally, results will last from between 6 months to 2 years and are dependent on factors such as age and UV exposure, and vary from person to person. Re-touch or 'Refresher' treatments to keep the colour in its best condition are taken anything from 6 months to 2 years and are a single treatment. Pre-treatment preparations

- Avoid tanning the area to be treated or use complete sun block (>SPF30), applied 2-3 times a days for at least three weeks prior treatment. Deeply tanned skin should be treated 4-6 weeks after active sun exposure

- Avoid taking anticoagulants for 10 days before treatment, if medical condition allows. - Moisturise the skin of the area to be treated a day before treatment. - Discontinue any irritant topical agents for 2-3days prior to treatment. - Arrive for treatment with clean skin. There should be no lotion, makeup, perfume, power,

bath/shower oil present on the skin in the area to be treated.

Consultation fees At Beyond MediSpa we manage our patients through their health care journey, providing treatments and procedures that reflect our team’s experience and expertise. In offering a highly professional and ethical service, we charge a consultation fee for our Doctor or Surgeon consultations. Appointments with our Patient Consultants are free. They are here to help provide you with all the necessary information and non-surgical medical advice you may need to make an informed decision about your treatment or procedure. Cancellations and failure to arrive at scheduled appointments Where a deposit is paid to secure a consultation or a treatment we require you to provide us with 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel otherwise your deposit will be forfeit. Cancellations can be made by phone, email or in person at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We would be grateful if you could do so as soon as you know, to avoid any confusion and to help us maintain our level of service. If you fail to arrive for an appointment whilst you are on a course you will forfeit that treatment Late arrivals We do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, there may be times when a late arrival will result in reduced treatment time, or we may have to reschedule your appointment. Refunds There are no refunds on taken treatments or purchased products. If you require a refund on a treatment, any treatments taken will revert to the standard price of a treatment and lose the benefit of the course price. The refund of the remaining treatments is based upon monies left on the number of standard priced treatments taken. Refunds due are only payable during a working day 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and subject to approval by a director of Beyond MediSpa. Price list Price Lists are available with our information brochure at reception and available by post upon request. Please note prices may change without notice. Our prices can also be found on our web site www.beyondmedispa.co.uk General Gift Vouchers will expire after 12 months. All courses and treatments must be used within 12 months and 24 months if you are pregnant. Gift Vouchers are non transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used for treatments only before the treatment date. Child policy (under 18’s) In line with regulations from the Care Quality Commission, we cannot treat persons under the age of 18 (unless referred by their GP), or allow such persons into our clinics – for their own safety.
