Learning Outcomes and Subordinate Skills At the end of this programme, students; 1. Will be able to explain basic concepts of Internetional law. 1.1. Define the principle of International Criminal Law. 1.2. Demonstrate the institutions and applications of International Criminal Law. 1.3. Analyse the current problems about International Criminal Law in the light of theoric-based knowledges 2. Will be able to create solutions to the problems of International Criminal Law. 2.1. Debate on future of International Criminal Law. 2.2. Create solutions about proplems of International Criminal law in the light of basic knowledges and current assessments. 2.3. Translete their studies. 3. Will be able to tell the composition of the International Criminal Court. 3.1. Recognize the International Criminal Court’s composition and working. 3.2. List the crimes that are being under the entitle of International Criminal Court. 3.3. Identify the position of International Criminal Court in domestic law. Generic Competences To be regular follower of the courses, be able to work in teams, participate in the discussions in the classroom, make regular readings and repeat case studies presented in the classroom. In addition the students should prepare reports and essays in time and be present in class activities. Outline 1. Introduction of the International Criminal Law 2. General principles of International Criminal Law 3. Individual Criminal Responsbility and Universal Jurisdiction 4. International Criminal Court and Roma Statute 5. The Prosecution of International Crimes in National Law and the Principle of Complementarity 6. Ad Hoc and Hybrid Courts 7. International Crimes and General Principles of International Crimes 8. Genocide 9. Crimes against Humanity 10. War Crimes 11. Aggression 12. Other International Crimes 13. The Future of International Criminal Law 14.
